The Elgin - epitomises the luxury pub

There’s nothing quite as comforting as pub grub and if this is what you’re looking for we’d be remiss in not recommending The Elgin in Notting Hill.

Having recently undergone a refurb the pub has distinct areas, from the main drinking hole to the elegant dining area.

The food includes classic pub fare such as burgers, steaks and fish and chips but also includes the odd surprise like the cornish crab cocktail starter which we fell in love with.

The menu aims to serve-up seasonally changing dishes showcasing the best of British fare.

The desserts are generous and delicious; we opted for the vanilla panna cotta which had the perfect panna cotta wobble.

To drink you can choose from a selection of over 40 gins and if gin isn’t your thing there’s also a varied range of craft ales and wines to choose from.

A three course dinner for two with drinks will set you back around £75 - £90 which is what you would expect for the area a night out in Notting Hill.
